Our aim is to bridge the technological divide, ensuring equitable access to AI technologies worldwide through contributions to the open source community. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing and sharing these innovations, helping to make AI accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Role Overview:

As a Research Scientist, you will spearhead cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational linguistics. You will focus on creating new knowledge and technologies that enhance the capabilities of AI in understanding and processing low-resource languages. Your work will include designing experiments, developing algorithms, and writing influential papers that contribute to the global AI community.

• Conduct groundbreaking research on AI, with a focus on natural language processing, machine learning, and low-resource language technologies.
• Publish research findings in top-tier journals and at leading international conferences.
• Explore and experiment with cutting edge research in related fields.
• Collaborate with a global network of researchers and industry partners to advance our research goals.
• Work with an engineering team to develop open-source models, software and tools that facilitate AI research and application in low-resource languages.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of research in AI, machine learning, or NLP, demonstrated through publications, software, or patents.
• Experience in developing and evaluating AI systems, along with an understanding of cutting-edge AI research is desirable.
• Experience in training, fine-tuning, and/or experimenting with ML models.
• Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face, Jax).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, proficiency in Thai is highly desirable.
