Chief Venture and Investment Officer
Mukaya joined SCB 10X in 2020 as Chief Venture and Investment Officer.
An engineer by background, Mukaya has over 20 years of experience working and investing in the technology sector in Silicon Valley, New York, and Singapore. Prior to joining SCB 10X, Mukaya was a Portfolio Manager at Pictet Asset Management, where she specialized in investing in publicly-listed technology companies globally, with focus on Asia.
Mukaya was awarded the prestigious King’s Scholarship to study abroad. She graduated with honors from MIT, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and subsequently an MBA from Harvard Business School. She started her career as one of the early engineers at a Silicon Valley semiconductor startup, SiByte, which was acquired by Broadcom for $2.2 billion.
