Senior ML Engineer (3-month contract)

As a Senior ML Engineer with expertise in computer vision, you will play a pivotal role in our technical team. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the research, development, and implementation of computer vision generative AI technology to create advanced solutions that address specific challenges of leading AI-driven design startup. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contributing your technical expertise to deliver impactful and scalable products. 

• Drive the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond. 
• Research, conceive, and develop cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and models tailored to the requirements of spacely.ai. 
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to identify areas where AI applications can stimulate business growth. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and AI technologies, and apply them to enhance our products.
• Effectively deploy and operationalize deep learning models.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define project objectives, requirements, and specifications. 

• Proven experience of 3+ years in developing and implementing ML-based solutions, preferably in computer vision. 
• Proficiency in formulating and strategizing innovative AI solutions. 
• Demonstrated commitment to staying up to date with the latest AI advancements. 
• Extensive experience in training complex deep learning models. 
• Experience in deploying and operationalizing deep learning models effectively.
• Experience in developing data processing pipelines for training deep learning models.
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and frameworks (such as PyTorch).
• Strong knowledge of image processing techniques, feature extraction, and deep learning architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in Generative AI techniques is a plus. 

Note: This position has the potential to convert to full-time for leading AI-driven design startup.
