Job Summary:
As an Mid-level Backend Engineer, you will contribute to building and maintaining backend systems for innovative financial technology solutions. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable backend services. This role provides hands-on experience with system integrations across payments, exchanges, and compliance services, as well as exposure to blockchain-related technologies.
Job Descriptions:
Develop and maintain backend features and services with a focus on clean, reliable code.
Implement APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and partner systems.
Support integrations with third-party partners such as banks, payment processors, exchanges, custody platforms, and compliance services.
Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and technical decisions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance and reliability.
Follow best practices for testing, documentation, and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- Knowledge of security considerations in backend development.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Bonus: Experience with blockchain, smart contracts, or digital asset integrations.
- Bonus: Experience in fintech, payment systems, or financial services.
