Job Summary:
SCB 10X is the technology investment arm of SCB X with the goal of creating and discovering exponential technologies and passionate, forward-thinking entrepreneurs.
SCB 10X is divided into two core businesses: venture capital and venture building. The venture capital team invests in exponential technologies, while the venture building team ideates and builds technology startups. Our focus invest & build areas include Web3, blockchain, deep tech and AI, and green tech.

Job Descriptions:
Associate/Manager/Principal, Venture Capital will be responsible for all areas of investment, from sourcing high quality startups, to performing due diligence, market research, and transaction closing, and post-investment monitoring of portfolio companies.
Job Descriptions:
- Sourcing and reviewing companies into and for investment pipeline
- Conducting due diligence on potential investments , including gathering information from target companies, industry experts, technical advisor, their clients and suppliers and competitors to assess the target company
- Conducting market research on specific sub-domains to proactively identify interesting trends and investment opportunities
- Conducting financial modeling and valuation analysis to assess company fair price
- Preparing internal investment presentations for proposal to investment committee and board
- Connecting with business networks and peers in other venture capital firms to stay updated on the latest developments in the technology industry
- Monitoring and reporting on portfolio companies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Math
- At least 3 years of work experience in tech startups or venture capital
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Tech sectors and systems, trends and opportunities
- Strong understanding of technical and business concepts (corporate finance, operating metrics) with business acumenStrong interest and knowledge in startups and technology, with a focus on Deep Tech, DeFi, Blockchain, and Digital assets
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills
